The Committee of the Whole meeting set for Thursday was cancelled and the Municipal Building was closed for deep cleaning after an attendee to Tuesday’s council meeting tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a news release, the Municipal Center will reopen on Friday with normal business hours after being closed for sanitation. Officials reassured the public that guidelines from the city’s Healthy at Work reopening plan were in place for all employees and guests at the meeting, including mandatory face masks, fifty percent attendance capacity and mandatory temperature checks.
