Hopkinsville police arrested a 16-year old girl Monday night after she allegedly pulled a knife on her mother and threatened to kill her.
The juvenile told police she pulled the knife on her mother because her hair was not properly fixed, according to an arrest citation. Her mother said the suspect threatened to killer her and stated that she wanted her dead.
Officers found multiple punctures on the frame of the girl’s bedroom door, appearing to be from the knife.
The juvenile was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and transported to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
