Kentucky gains 721 COVID cases, 13 more deaths

Governor Andy Beshear reported 721 new COVID-19 cases and 13 more deaths Saturday.

One of those deaths was a 59-year old woman from Muhlenberg County and another was a 78-year old woman from Logan County.

Eighty-one of the new cases are children 18 and younger and 15 were five or younger.

Governor Beshear says the positivity rate is down again, but he’s looking to also see the number of new cases come down.

The governor is reminding Kentuckians to follow health guidelines to keep themselves and others healthy.

Tennessee added 1,032 new cases and 39 additional deaths.  Montgomery County had 12 new cases, Robrertson County four and Stewart County gained one new case.
