One lower school class at University Heights Academy is learning virtually through September 16 after a teacher tested positive for COVID-19 and there are three confirmed cases associated with Christian County Public Schools.
Headmaster Beth Unfried emailed UHA families Saturday and said the teacher is isolated at home with mild symptoms.
She says because they “have been following safety measures with social distancing and wearing masks, the possibility of a student being exposed is very small.”
Unfried adds they are making school decisions with extreme caution and that their “greatest priority is the safety of our students, staff, and community members.”
Meanwhile, the Christian County Public School System COVID Data Dashboard reported a total of three cases associated with Pembroke and Millbrooke elementary schools and Christian County Middle School.
