Kentucky reports 790 new COVID-19 cases Saturday

There was another 790 new cases of COVID-19 reported Saturday in Kentucky, in addition to six more deaths.

Ninety-eight of the new cases were children 18 years old or younger, according to Governor Andy Beshear, who says the positivity rate fell to 4.22 percent. Twelve of the new cases were five or younger.

One of Todd County’s previously announced fatalities was specified by the governor to be a 59-year old male.

Just over 930,000 tests have been administered in Kentucky and at least 10,613 Kentuckians have recovered from the virus.

Tennessee reported 1,765 new cases and 25 more deaths. Montgomery County gained 21 cases, Robertson 15 and Stewart County added three new cases.
