The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a multi-vehicle wreck on Madisonville Road Sunday that sent two people to the hospital.
According to the collision report, a vehicle driven by 50-year old Melinda Jordan of Clarksville was at the intersection of Highway 800 and Madisonville Road, facing westbound. She told deputies she assumed the intersection was a four-way stop and that a vehicle approaching her—operated by 25-year old Justin Hicks of Crofton—would stop, so she pulled in its path.
The two collided in the intersection, causing Jordan’s vehicle to roll onto its side. A third automobile, driven by 81-year old Robert Faulk of Crofton, was heading southbound on Madisonville Road at the same moment and was unable to avoid striking Jordan’s vehicle.
Hicks and his passenger, 20-year old Brandon Hicks of Crofton, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for multiple injuries. Neither Faulk nor Jordan reported any injuries.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
