Sixteen internet hot spots are now up and running in Christian County with 12 more spots to come, to help students who lack internet access as they begin the school year online.
According to a news release, internet hot spots are physical locations for internet service within the school district and are available for both Virtual Learning Academy and Non-Traditional Instruction students. The sixteen internet hot spot locations include all schools in the district along with the Stadium of Champions, Christian County Day Treatment Center and the Christian County Personnel Department on Glass Avenue.
The 12 remaining locations at Volunteer Fire Departments across the county are in the process of being installed and activated—families will be notified when those are ready to go.
