Kentucky gained 467 new COVID-19 cases and nine new deaths Sunday.
Seventy-nine of the new cases were children ages 18 and under, according to Governor Andy Beshear, who said the youngest was only three days old.
Kentucky has now had 43,529 total cases since the pandemic began and 881 fatalities.
Governor Beshear is quoted in a news release as saying, “We remain in a plateau with our number of new cases, which is positive, but we have to see those numbers steadily decline.”
Tennessee gained 1,854 cases and four deaths. Montgomery County added 19 cases, Robertson 16 and Stewart County remained steady through the weekend.
