Woman sought for stealing vehicle arrested after foot pursuit

A Hopkinsville woman sought on multiple warrants, including one for theft of a vehicle, was arrested Saturday following a foot pursuit.

An arrest citation for 29-year old Susan Wilson says she was observed taking and returning items from the Salvation Army drop boxes. A computer check showed she was wanted on multiple warrants.

Police say she was able to flee on foot and went into someone else’s apartment on South Clay Street, turning over a kitchen table and refrigerator.

She was eventually subdued and scratched an officer as she allegedly tried to bite his hand.

Wilson was arrested and charged with burglary, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.

She was also served with multiple warrants, including one from Caldwell County alleging she stole a vehicle valued at $15,000 on Varmint Trace in Princeton on August 11.
