The man sought by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office for a hit and run collision Sunday in Todd County that severely injured his son turned himself in to police Wednesday.
Thirty-six-year-old Kyle Tanner is lodged in the Todd County Jail and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, driving on a DUI suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to maintain insurance.
Police say Tanner wrecked his vehicle Sunday on Blue and Gray Park Road and had his two-year old son inside unrestrained.
Tanner allegedly took his son to the child’s mother and then left.
The toddler had severe injuries and had to be transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
