A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning on the Pennyrile Parkway.
The woman was northbound near the 16 mile-marker just after 9:30 a.m. when she ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, according to Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller.
The woman was taken by EMS to the Air Evac helipad and then flown to a hospital in Nashville.
