Governor Beshear announced a recommendation yesterday that schools do not begin in person classes until September 28th. Meanwhile, the KHSAA released a statement on social media last night indicating the Board of Control does not meet again until August 20th and the staff will be in regular communication with the Governor’s office, public health officials, the Kentucky Department of Education and member school districts as they plan for the new school year. The new recommendation by the Governor does not affect fall sports, at least for now.
