Tributes poured in on social media last night for former Lyon County and University of Kentucky golfer Cullan Brown. Brown lost his courageous battle with bone cancer yesterday. Brown was the KHSAA individual champion in 2016 and went on to UK where he made the All Southeastern Conference freshman team and tied for ninth individually at the SEC post season tournament. The 20-year-old Brown also played as an amateur in one PGA Tour event, the Barbasol Championship, shooting 10-under par for the tournament and logging par-or-better scores during all four rounds in 2019. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
