Twelve new cases of COVID-19 reported in Christian, decrease in active cases

The Christian County Health Department reported 12 new confirmed overall cases of COVID-19, but also a decrease in active cases.

That’s according to Thursdays update, which shows 169 active cases, which is down 11 active cases from Wednesday—to date, 364 people have recovered from the virus, with 539 cases overall since the pandemic began locally.  Christian County has now had six COVID-19 related deaths.

Breaking it down into age groups there are 35 active cases in the pediatric age group, 93 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 33 in the older adult category and eight in the elderly age group.
