Missouri murder suspect thought to be in Clarksville

A suspect sought in connection with a murder in southeast Missouri is believed to be in Clarksville.

Clarksville police are asking for the public’s help to locate 28-year old Clarence Jamarr Smith. He is considered armed and dangerous and anyone knowing his whereabouts should call 911 or Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.

Smith is sought on a warrant for second-degree murder and WSIL TV reports he and 32-year old Brandon Pratt murdered and attempted to rob 21-year old Anthony Miller on Sheridan Street in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Pratt was arrested Friday in Clarksville on murder and attempted robbery charges.
