A high speed pursuit in Hopkinsville early Friday morning ended with an arrest.
Hopkinsville police attempted to stop 24-year old D’Angelo Morehead for speeding on US 68 about 10 minutes before 5 a.m., but he allegedly accelerated as he kept driving and made several turns before stopping on Holly Court, according to Hopkinsville Police Lt. Seth Meek.
Morehead was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, speeding and driving on a suspended license.
