A Todd County woman was injured in an accident Wednesday morning in US 68 in Elkton.
Seventy-one-year-old Mary Winders of Elkton was eastbound when she got into the left lane to pass a piece of Ag. sprayer equipment driven by Darryl Templeman, according to Sheriff Tracy White.
Winders attempted to re-enter the right lane too quickly when she realized she was going to miss her turn and drove directly into the path of the sprayer, causing her car be knocked onto its side.
Winders was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The Elkton Police Department is investigating the accident.
