Multiple fire departments responded to a field fire Wednesday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard near Novadell Way.
About 10 acres burned, according to Hopkinsville Fire Department Captain Michael Pendleton, who says it’s unknown how it ignited.
Fort Campbell Boulevard was reduced to one lane on the northbound side while firefighters from Hopkinsville, Square Deal, Lafayette and Herndon battled the blaze.
No one was injured.
