An Elkton man was severely injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday night in Franklin County, Tennessee.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says 62-year old Jackie Moon of Elkton was traveling on Sherwood Road a few minutes after 7 p.m. when his tractor-trailer went off the roadway and the trailer became separated from the truck during the crash.
Moon was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Chattanooga with serious injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
