The Memphis Grizzlies’ 17-man roster and coaching staff arrived in Orlando with optimism, but also apprehensive. They are confident they can go deep into the NBA tournament on Disney properties sans spectators. There are, however, concerns about the bubble bursting amid the coronavirus pandemic with 25 NBA players testing positive. Memphis will scrimmage the Philadelphia 76ers on July 23rd. The Grizzlies will play Portland on July 31st for their first game since March 10th.
Meanwhile, Grizzlies rookie guard Ja Morant surprised his father with a new car before the team left yesterday for Orlando. Morant captured the moment on video on his Instagram feed. It was a white car with a red ribbon on the hood.
