Johnson wins Travelers Championship, Gordon gets special exemption

Dustin Johnson held on after a weather delay to win the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands Sunday. He shot a final round 67 to finish 19-under, winning by one stroke over Kevin Streelman in Cromwell, CT. Will Gordon and Mackenzie Hughes both finished two strokes back as Kevin Na finished three strokes behind. Gordon, the Vanderbilt University grad who was playing on a sponsor’s exemption, earned special temporary membership on the PGA Tour, allowing him to receive an unlimited number of sponsor exemptions for the rest of the season. The Tour will be in Detroit this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club.
