Ky. sees 315 new cases of COVID-19, 11 new deaths

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced 315 new cases of COVID-19 in the state Tuesday and 11 new deaths.

According to a news release, the 315 cases reported on Tuesday—which is typically shows a higher number of cases due to more labs reporting in—brings the overall state total to 14,141.  Eleven Kentuckians have died, including a 106-year old Logan County man, putting that total at 537 since the pandemic began.

As of Tuesday, there have been at least 363,027 coronavirus tests performed in Kentucky and at least 3,591 Kentuckians had recovered from the virus.
