Kentucky coach John Calipari told ESPN’s Dick Vitale in a phone conversation Saturday night the school has applied for a waiver to allow Wake Forest transfer Olivier Sarr to play in the 2020-21 season. Last season at Wake Forest, Sarr earned third-team All-ACC honors after averaging 13.7 points and 9.0 rebounds for the Demon Deacons. Earlier, the NCAA granted former Kentucky player Johnny Juzang a waiver to be eligible to play for UCLA next season.
