Union County will have a new boys’ basketball coach next season. Shane Smith announced his resignation on social media Wednesday. Smith spent the last four seasons as Braves coach, compiling a 51-68 record, including a 9-21 mark this past season. Before being the Braves head coach, Smith spent four season as Union County’s girls head coach.
