Testing for driver’s permits is resuming by appointment in many Kentucky counties, but not in Christian, Todd or Trigg counties.
Kentucky State Police say appointments began Tuesday in select counties where the required CDC/Healthy at Work guidelines can be adhered to.
In an effort to ensure the safety of permit applicants and staff, KSP implemented a registration process where everyone will be required to schedule a specific date for their permit test.
While Christian, Todd, Trigg, Muhlenberg and Hopkins counties are still listed as “pending” on the KSP website for a number to call to schedule an appointment—Logan, Calloway, Lyon and Marshall counties are resuming tests.
The website says an announcement is coming soon for road testing appointments.
