The Christian County Health Department is reporting another three additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, as of Saturday’s update.
Those three cases bring the overall total since the pandemic began to 110 in Christian County, with 18 of them now considered ‘active’ and with 89 individuals having recovered. Breaking those active cases down into age groups, there are now four in the pediatric age group, 12 in the young adult to middle aged group, two cases in the older adult category and still zero in the elderly age grouping.
Christian County remains at three COVID-19 related deaths. Public Health Director Kayla Bebout reports that this past week has been the highest amount of cases since the week ending on April 18.
