A Hopkinsville woman has been charged with second-degree burglary after she allegedly broke into a residence during a fight on South Clay Street early Monday morning.

According to the police report, 26-year old Keshonda Green of Hopkinsville went to a residence on South Clay Street around 2 a.m. to see the father of her child and when she arrived a verbal argument began between her, him and another female.  The male victim went into his apartment and Green allegedly threw a brick through the glass of the main building door that goes to all apartments.

She reportedly unlocked the door and went inside to the victim’s apartment and when he refused to open the door, she allegedly kicked the door in.  Green reportedly told officers about what had occurred when they arrived on scene.
