Matt Boehman has been named principal at Christian County High School.
Boehman currently serves as assistant principal and was one of three candidates to be interviewed by the Site Based Decision Making Council, according to a news release from district spokesperson John Rittenhouse.
Boehman previously served as principal at Pembroke Elementary School and taught history and coached football at Trigg County High School. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State University and two Master’s Degrees from Murray State University.
He’s quoted as saying, “I am excited to be the next principal of Christian County High School. The students and staff are fantastic, hardworking people. I am honored to be a part of the Colonel family.”
Boehman takes over for Chris Benzel, who was selected as the next superintendent of the Christian County Public School System.
