Churchill Downs is planning on its first race Saturday, while trainers, horses and other essential personnel beginning to report yesterday to the track’s stables. The track is closed to fans and anyone entering has to go through a medical screening and wear a mask. The Kentucky Derby has been moved to September and track officials are awaiting word from the state government to allow fans in the stands.
