UK’s Stoops says playing without fans in 2020 football season “not viable”

University of Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops told the Lexington Herald Leader today that in his opinion, it’s not a viable option to play football without fans. But Stoops says he’s going to do the things he’s been told, which is to go about his business and do the best he can to prepare his team to open the season September 5th.Kentucky generated a third of its revenues from ticket sales in fiscal year 2019.
