The Pennyroyal Arts Council has stayed busy during the pandemic planning for a future that doesn’t require us to be healthy at home.
Executive Director Margaret Prim appeared Tuesday on WHOP and says they’re preparing to soon make announcements for the next “Live at the Alhambra” season.
Prim says she’s also looking for government relief funds to make up for money lost during the COVID-19 pandemic due to cancellations of events.
Prim notes local schools and organizations would also be renting the Alhambra for their own shows, if not for the social distancing orders to prevent spread of the virus.
The Stylistics concert that had been set for April 18 has been rescheduled for August 15 and tickets for the April date will be honored.
