A single-vehicle accident Wednesday night on Shiloh Chapel Road sent the driver to the hospital.
The report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Eddie Frye says 21-year old Danny Cansler of Crofton was eastbound when he said two deer ran into his path. Cansler slowed and turned his wheels to avoid the animals, causing him to drop off the side of the road.
His SUV continued through a fence and struck a tree before coming to rest in a field.
Cansler was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
