An investigation early Wednesday morning on Cherry Street led to the arrest of a man on an attempted burglary charge.
Hopkinsville police say 18-year old Heberto Mier of Hopkinsville attempted to get inside his ex-girlfriend’s home in the 1300 block of Cherry Street at about 1:30 a.m. with the intent of causing physical harm to her male friend.
Mier was arrested just before 3 a.m. and charged with attempted second-degree burglary.
