Following his sophomore season, Kentucky’s Ashton Hagans placed his name in the NBA Draft Sunday. Hagans bid farewell to Kentucky fans in a social media post. Hagans averaged 11 and a half points, 6.4 assists and led the Wildcats with 58 steals this past season.
Coach John Calipari said in a statement that Hagans was ready to move to the NBA. Calipari said Hagans has become a completely different player in his two seasons with the Wildcats.
