Two more have COVID-19 in Todd County

There are two additional cases of COVID-19 in Todd County.

Public Health Director Jen Harris says an adult with underlying health conditions is currently isolated at home with mild aches and pains. A healthy minor is also isolated at home and has no symptoms at this time.

Both new patients are direct contacts with the adult who tested positive Thursday. That individual has been experiencing mild symptoms while isolated at home.

The new minor patient has had additional contacts and the health department is in the process of notifying those individuals so they can quarantine for 14 days.

Harris says in a news release, “This is far from over. We will continue to see a rise in cases over the next couple of weeks, but the number of cases will depend on how well the community is listening to the appeals of healthcare providers and local officials.”

Todd County has now had five total cases of COVID-19.
