PGA Tour Roundup

Golf Digest reports the PGA Tour is expanding the tournament fields for at least two events. To help make up for the events that have been postponed thus far through mid-May, fields at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, scheduled for May 21-24, and the Memorial, June 4-7 in Dublin, Ohio, will increase from 120 players to 144. So far, 11 events have been canceled or postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

There’s been some talk that Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will play another match against each other, but with a different twist. Multiple reports say the two could have former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady as playing partners. It’s not known when or where this match would take place. Mickelson won a nine million dollar match with Woods in November, 2018.
