The Kentucky High School Athletics Association announced today an update on the status of high school sports in the Commonwealth. In a news release, it was announced the Boys and Girls Sweet 16 basketball tournaments remain “ suspended” at this point along with spring sports. The suspensions will go on past the April 12th deadline.
The KHSAA also announced the Dawahare’s/KHSAA Hall of Fame Induction and Banquet scheduled for May has been postponed until next year. Former University Heights basketball standout Greg Buckner was to be one of the inductees.
