Kentucky State Police arrested a Tennessee man following a pursuit in Hopkins County Sunday.
According to a news release, troopers observed a vehicle in Earlington that was operated by 35-year old Harold Anthony of Smyrna, Tennessee, who had a warrant issued for his arrest. A traffic stop was initiated but Anthony allegedly ignored the trooper and continued on for several miles.
The pursuit ended when Anthony pulled into a driveway in Morton’s Gap and he was apprehended by Kentucky State Police and the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department.
Anthony is charged first-degree fleeing or evading police, DUI, driving on a DUI suspended license, reckless driving and several traffic violations.
