NFL changing plans for upcoming NFL Draft

The National Football League is beginning the process of canceling the 2020 NFL Draft as a public event in Las Vegas and moving it to a studio-only setting. On Sunday, details of a memo sent by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to the league’s owners last week shows the early steps of moving the draft out of concern over the spread of the coronavirus.

The league is now looking at technology to try holding the draft with cameras set up at each team’s headquarters. There is no word yet if the NFL will try to move the date of the draft, which is currently scheduled for April 23rd through April 25th.
