Kentucky lawmakers have passed an emergency relief bill for school districts impacted by COVID-19.
Senator Alice Kerr is the sponsor of the Senate bill that would allow districts to use the previous school year to determine attendance for state funding.
The bill would also extend the number of nontraditional instruction days available to districts and allow them to continue to provide free lunches for students.
