The Indianapolis Motor Speedway released a statement today indicating as of now the 104th Indianapolis 500 to be held May 24th and other race related activities in May will go on as scheduled. The statement also indicated they are aware of the CDC’s interim guidance that gatherings of 50 or more people should not be held for an eight week period, but IMS officials are monitoring the situation.
