Man sustains head injuries in McLean Avenue crash

A single-vehicle wreck Friday night on McLean Avenue injured a Pembroke Man.

It happened about 11:15 p.m. and the collision report from Hopkinsville police says 54-year old Ralph Jones of Pembroke was eastbound on McLean when his vehicle dropped off the right side of the road, causing him to over-correct.

He then lost control of his pickup, traveled across the westbound lane and off the roadway before striking a tree.

Jones was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of head injuries.

Jones was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, according to the report.
