Woman flown to Vanderbilt after Logan County crash

A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital following a wreck Wednesday morning in Logan County.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 51-year old Lena Sharp of Lewisburg had been eastbound on Spa Road when she lost control of her vehicle, went into the westbound lane and struck a flatbed pickup, before going off the pavement and overturning.

Sharp was treated at the scene and then flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The occupants of the truck—23-year old Cody Harper of Elkton, 23-year old Hunter Sears of Elkton and 36-year old John Mimms of Lewisburg—were not injured.
