Cerulean man arrested for second DUI following crash

A Cerulean man was checked out at the hospital and then jailed for his second DUI following a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning on the MLK Bypass between Princeton Road and Cadiz Road.

Hopkinsville police say 21-year old Kaleb Mosley had been westbound when he swerved and went partially off the south side of the roadway. It appeared he then overcorrected at a high rate of speed and the pickup overturned onto its roof.

An arrest citation says Mosley was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. He registered a blood alcohol content of .251—over three times the legal limit.

Mosley refused EMS and did not appear to be injured, but was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for medical clearance before he was jailed for his second DUI.

The Bypass was closed for some time in that area due to debris on the roadway.
