Former Kentucky quarterback Walker Wood tells the Lexington Herald Leader he’s heading to McNeese State to continue his career next fall. Wood says he wants to go to a school where he will get the opportunity to play. The Lexington native will graduate from UK in May and have two years of eligibility left. He will compete with returning starter Cody Orgeron, the son of LSU coach Ed Orgeron, at McNeese State.
