The Hoptown Hoppers announced 10 more players for the 2020 roster today. They are as follows:
Issac Bair, a catcher at the University of Indianapolis from Fort Wayne, IN.
Jake Terrell, a right hand pitcher at Vol State Community College from Cadiz. His great great grandfather, Hermit Mitchell, played on the original Hopper teams in the 1920’s.
Payton Beck is an outfielder from Bellarmine University and is from Louisville, KY.
Caleb Vercek is an outfielder at Young-Harris College in Georgia and is from Cumming, GA.
Jet Kern is an infielder and right hand pitcher from Georgia Highlands College who is from Roswell, GA.
Cameron Brown is a right hand pitcher and infielder at Lincoln Memorial University and is from Williamsburg, KY.
Ryan Johnson is a right hand pitcher at Bellarmine University and is from Lexington, KY.
Adam Spalding is a right hand pitcher at Bellarmine University and is from Floyds Knob, IN.
Luke Helton is a right hand pitcher at Morehead State University and is from Whiteland, IN.
Pat Walker is a catcher at Georgia Highlands College and is from Flowery Branch, GA.
The Hoppers will open defense of their Ohio Valley League title May 29th hosting the Fulton Railroaders at Christian County High’s Colonel Field.
