White Plains man arrested for meth trafficking

A White Plains man was arrested on methamphetamine trafficking charges following a traffic stop Sunday night near Nortonville.

Kentucky State Police stopped 61-year old Phillip Adams of White Plains for speeding on Old Nortonville-White Plains Road and a news release says Adams appeared to be under the influence.

A search allegedly revealed over two ounces of meth.

Adams was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, DUI, careless driving and speeding.
