Two Austin Peay players were honored for their play this past week by the Ohio Valley Conference. Governor Jordyn Adams was the Freshman of the Week after averaging 21.5 points in wins over Murray State and Eastern Kentucky.
Fellow Governor Eli Abaev was named Newcomer of the Week after averaging 13 ½ points and 11 ½ rebounds in wins over Murray State and EKU. Abeav had 19 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday’s win over Eastern Kentucky. Austin Peay is back in action Thursday night at SIU-Edwardsville
