Austin Peay downed Eastern Michigan 13-6. Austin Peay continues its season-opening eight game home stand when it opens play in the SAF Dirt Classic with a 3 p.m., Thursday contest against Missouri State.
Murray State fell to Southern Miss 8-7. Former Hoptown Hopper Charlie Fischer went 4-4 with two doubles and three rbi in the win for Southern Miss. Murray State is back in action Wednesday afternoon at Western Kentucky with first pitch at 3 pm.
Western Kentucky defeated Valpo 6-2 Sunday with the series finale today at Nick Denes Field.
