Christian County downed Daviess County 56-35 in the Valentine Shootout at Murray High Saturday. The Lady Colonels were led in scoring by Serenity Shemwell with 18 points and six rebounds. Eniya McGee had 11 points and seven rebounds, Mikyiah Killebrew added 10 points and five boards with Lamontavia Forte pitching in 10. Christian County improved to 10-15 and plays at Webster County Tuesday night.
University Heights lost to Butler County 65-59 on Saturday in Morgantown. The Lady Blazers are 6-17 on the season and play at Madisonville Monday night.
